Mort de Mahsa Amini : des étudiants de Sciences Po se sont rassemblés en soutien aux Iraniennes
Dans le jardin du 27 rue Saint-Guillaume, des étudiants se sont réunis au côté de syndicats et partis politiques de gauche le lundi 26 septembre, pour rendre hommage à la jeune iranienne Masha Amini, décédée dix jours plus tôt suite à son arrestation par la police des mœurs à Téhéran. Le souffle des souffrances du peuple iranien et de sa jeunesse s’est diffusé au-delà des chaînes de montagne de l’ancien empire perse. Alors que partout dans le monde y compris au Moyen-Orient, la révolte iranienne a été saluée, des étudiants de Sciences Po ont également tenu à apporter leur soutien…

In March 2011, peaceful protests were held in Syria after fifteen boys had been detained and tortured for their support of the Arab Spring movement. Uprisings happening in Tunisia and Egypt being able to overthrow dictatorial governments had inspired Syrian protesters and encouraged them to demand a better future. Abortion in Texas has become (almost) illegal
From 1st September 2021, it has become illegal in Texas to have an abortion six weeks after the start of the pregnancy because of a new unique law of its kind that opens a new frontier in the clash between Washington, individual states and the Supreme Court.
